Reviews of Anker Prime 3-in-1 foldable high-speed charging station & Anker Nano 45W smart display charger
Anker Prime Series wireless, 3-in-1, MagGo, AirCool, foldable and high-speed charging station

New from Anker (unveiled at CES 2026, launched on February 2 and provided for review here), this is the world’s first Qi2.2-certified, 25W wireless charging station with active fan-cooling technology in a palm-sized, foldable design — delivering near-wired speeds without overheating. This 3-in-1, stylish, MagSafe charger is ideal for reliable, multi-device, fast-charging of your iPhone (12- through 17-Series), AirPods and Apple Watch — all at the same time — while traveling, at home and at work.

Battery temperature impacts battery life. Anker’s innovative “AirCool” fan cooling technology protects battery health. The charging station’s proprietary, ultra-compact spatial design, with fluid-dynamics-optimized micro fan, prevents thermal throttling for consistent 25W charging operation. Utilizing this virtually silent fan for 19-dB operation, cooling air is drawn in from low on the rear of the phone’s wireless charging platform and routed through highly efficient “Cicada Wing” biomimetic airflow channels to where it exits at the top of the platform. This maintains the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s temperature below 98-degrees throughout the entire charging process.

This ultra-fast Anker Prime Series charger provides up to 25W maximum wireless charging for certain iPhone models. Thus, it is able to charge the iPhone 17 Pro to 50% in just 26 minutes, which is five-times faster than standard 5W wireless chargers.

It is Qi2.2-certified for wireless charging with MagSafe-compatible magnetic alignment, to provide perfect positioning every time and near-wired charging speeds without the hassle of connecting a cable.
This charging station supports “StandBy mode” which, when your phone is attached and rotated horizontally, becomes a smart bedside or desktop display. The viewing angle is adjustable from 0- to 60-degrees.

Press to pop up the watch stand. Place an AirPods wireless charging case on the base.

Anker has earned a reputation for excellent quality. This foldable charger’s high-precision hinge has been rigorously tested through 10,000+ folds, for lasting durability. Its suggested retail price is $149.99. For special savings, visit https://www.anker.com/.
Anker Nano Series 45W, smart display and 180-degree foldable charger
This innovative, high-output (45W maximum) Anker Nano Series wall-charger is the “World’s First Smart Display Charger that Knows your iPhone.” It automatically recognizes connected devices and adjusts power delivery, via its USB-C port, for a wide range of iPhone and iPad models — including the iPhone 15-, 16- and 17-Series, as well as supported iPad Pro models, “to deliver tailored charging with real-time visibility and enhanced battery care,” for better battery longevity.

According to Anker, this charger automatically recognizes supported iPhone and iPad models and delivers a smart, tailored, three-stage charging solution based on device needs and battery status, to match your device’s power needs. With up to 45W of power output, utilizing Power Delivery 3.0 and GaN technology, this charger can power an iPhone 17 to 50 percent in just 20 minutes, while remaining significantly smaller and lighter than traditional fast chargers.

It features TÜV-certified Care Mode, which can be easily activated for overnight or extended charging sessions. In Care Mode, the charger operates at a temperature 36°F below international standards, while keeping the phone’s battery up to 9°F cooler than other 45W chargers —helping support long-term battery health.
An integrated smart display with over 20 interfaces provides real-time visibility into charging power, temperature, charging modes and battery status, along with interactive visual feedback that makes charging more engaging and easy-to-understand at a glance.

“When charging in Anker’s Care Mode, the charger operates 36°F below international standards, and the phone battery temperature runs 9°F lower than with other 45W chargers.”
It is approximately 47 percent smaller and 36 percent lighter than the original 30W charger, while delivering 50 percent more power. The prongs of its wall plug fold from flush against the charger to 180-degrees out, to allow the charger to fit easily into wall outlets, desk plugs and tight spaces behind furniture or inside travel and carry-on bags, while ensuring the display always faces forward for easy viewing.

Available in several colors, its suggested retail price is $39.99.

Jan, these two Anker products look well made and reasonably priced. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and charge it with the Apple wireless disc. It works just fine and I never run into the need for fast charging. Also, my new Jag F-Pace SVR has a wireless charging pad, so I’m covered at home and on the road.
What particularly impressed me was the quality of your product photos…so professional they looked straight from Anker’s Advertising Department (but even better)!
David
Thanks David,
The three-in-one foldable charger is ideal for travel, since it can charge three devices at once and it only needs one wall outlet. It should stand up well to the rigors of being packed and transported, too.
